WHEN THE BIG “50” CAME KNOCKING AT MY DOOR, I STARTED TO SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT WHEN I CAME TO THE END OF MY LIFE WOULD I BE SATISFIED WITH WHAT I HAD ACCOMPLISHED. IN ONE WORD, “NO”!
I have three amazing boys I am extremely proud of. Proud of all they have done, and are doing with their life! And, to me that is a great accomplishment. But, for them! NOT ME! Sure, I gave birth to them, but they did everything else on their own. I just did some pushing at times (okay, a lot of times).
But, I started thinking, “WHAT ABOUT ME”? I wanted something for myself.
I started to listen to motivational videos on YouTube! That gave me a little push to start searching for something that I would really enjoy. I came across a video of a guy making candles. It was simple. I love candles. Burn them All. The. Time. And, I thought “I can do that"! So I did! And, I fell in love. I started to research everything on candle-making. I studied everything I could get my hands on. I could not stop (and still can’t)! I get so excited when the UPS guy brings me my new scents and my soy wax. I EAT, SLEEP, DREAM - YOU NAME IT… CANDLES. I CAN’T GET ENOUGH. I have found my passion, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
